SHA NA NA: LASTORIA DEL ROCK

Prima si facevano chiamare i Kingsmen e iniziarono a suonare nei campus universitari, la loro musica prima sul genere folk-rock, poi con il nuovo definitivo nome Sha Na Na si trasforma in musica di genere r’n’r stile anni ’50. Il loro debutto discografico avviene nel 1969, grazie ad un storico concerto dal vivo a Woodstock. La formazione si avvale di un numero consistente di elementi e cambia di anno in anno. Nonostante i alti bassi di successi il gruppo non demorde e continua a sfornare dischi di quel genere rock anni ’50.
