Nati nel 1966,su iniziativa di Kim Simmonds, chitarrista che sarà, con il passare degli anni, l’unicoche rimarrà in formazione stabile, in quanto la formazione avrà un continuo cambiamento di musicisti. La looro musica, dalle discendenze blues, molto orecchiabile e di buo gusto, ha saputo dare un’impronta non indifferente nella storia del rock. Nelle sue file sono passati nomi noti come Bill Bruford, futuro batterista degli Yes e King Crimson. Ottimi i concerti dal vivo, all’insegna del tutto esaurito.
